This CIU (customer interface unit) is designed for users of split prepaid electricity meters. It is wired to the meter through PLC/RF communication, and can input short codes to query various information such as consumption or remaining energy. It complies the STS (Standard Transfer Specification) Standard for data encryption and decryption with high data security. This CIU can help the Utility company build smart home and AMI system easily.
